少林俗家弟子石燕侠偷了少林寺镇寺之宝达摩剑，只身来到边关大漠黄土岭，投店东京客栈，遭大漠匪贼钱多多暗算，背负骂名偷来的达摩剑落入钱多多之手。钱多多勾结官府县令胡瓜，抢劫过往商人祸害一方，石燕侠决定会会钱多多，替大漠边关除害。石燕侠夜闯钱府，中了钱多多的埋伏，危难之际得大漠土匪“三节棍”搭救。
“三节棍”是大漠深处的一支土匪，常年与钱多多作对，因为钱多多仪仗官府人多势众，“三节棍”屡屡吃亏。客栈老板听说石燕侠要除掉钱多多，夺回失窃的达摩剑，奉劝石燕侠与“三节棍”结盟。石燕侠借答谢“三节棍”之机，与“三节棍”结拜金兰，共同对付钱多多。
